Students will gain the knowledge of how to create an effective podcast. They will also get an opportunity to put their podcasts on much larger platforms like Pandora and iHeartMedia Radio app.
Students will learn how to publish recorded podcast on several platforms including Spotify, iTunes, Anchor.fm, and Google Podcasts. There will be several exercises on formulating a podcast with a music open and close, content, and providing contact information. There will be homework that includes creating different types of podcasts.
Headphones, microphone, and audio editing program (Adobe Audition, Gold Wave or Audacity).
