Students will learn several types of voiceovers. That would include public service announcements, audiobooks, up tempo commercials, narrating instructional videos, and character voices. A certificate of completion.
A four week instructional of how to read voiceover copy, record and produce a voiceover. Students will share their completed productions in the classroom to be critiqued. Each week we will go over a different type of voiceover. There will be several guests who are in the voiceover industry who will share with students their journey and how to break into the field. There will also be homework involving creating voiceovers from the copy that is sent to students.
Headphones, microphone, and audio editing program (Adobe Audition, Gold Wave or Audacity).
